Check the black 14-pin black connector C on the control module and the connector on the potentiometer on motor 4 for loose connections according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults and contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.
Check the red power supply cable between the control module, terminal C:8, and the potentiometer on motor 4 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.
Check the yellow/red signal cable between the control module, terminal C:11, and the potentiometer on motor 4 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.
