- Ignition off
- Remove seat from car according to Seats - Service and Repair - Procedures - Replacing seat assembly. Service and Repair

Check and correct incorrectly connected leads to motor 1 and to the potentiometer on motor 1. Refer to Diagrams - Electrical for the relevant model year for correct connection information. Electrical Diagrams

Switching connections

- Press the pins out of connector C for the leads that are to be switched over. Use terminal removal tool Tools and Equipment
- Switch the leads and press the pins into the connector.
