Check the following cables for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults:
- 4D: Control module #A7 and the lamp housing for license plate lighting #1
- 5D (certain models): Control module #A7 and connector 24/25 between the left door sill harness and the tailgate cable harness, terminal 5.
- 5D (certain models): Control module #A7 and connector 24/3B between the firewall cable harness and the left door sill harness, terminal 9.
