- Ignition off.

For left-hand drive cars:
Check the cable between control module #A18 and the lock unit gray connector #B2 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.

For right-hand drive cars:
Check the cable between control module #A 18 and the lock unit gray connector #B3 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.
