Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-982A is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the engine control module (ECM) registers an internal fault.

Condition
- cruise control shut off
- throttle closure when braking
- fuel shut-off system which follows accelerator pedal (AP) position

Possible source
- defective engine control module (ECM)

Condition
- ETS warning lamp lit
- cruise control does not function at all
- engine judders under acceleration
- engine judders heavily after engine braking
- uneven idle
