Checking component and wiring
Check visually connector and connections according to Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Check signal cable between engine control module (ECM) # B47 (# B57) and cruise control lever # 1 for a short-circuit to ground according to [1][2]Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Check signal cable between engine control module (ECM) # B33 (# B43) and cruise control lever # 2 for a short-circuit to ground according to [1][2]Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Check signal cable between engine control module (ECM) # B20 (# B30) and cruise control lever # 3 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to [1][2]Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Check signal cable between engine control module (ECM) # B34 (# B44) and cruise control lever # 4 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to [1][2]Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Check signal cable between engine control module (ECM) # B19 (# B29) and cruise control lever # 5 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to [1][2]Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault

- With Cruise ON the voltage to the cruise control lever is a square wave with maximum voltage Ubat and is supplied via engine control module (ECM) terminal # B47
- At Cruise OFF the voltage to the cruise control lever is a saw tooth wave with top voltage Ubat and offset voltage of approximately 7.5 V.
