FAULTY SIGNAL
Status check
Check to see is the fault is intermittent or permanent.
- Start the engine.
- Press the accelerator pedal (AP) down at the same time as the brake pedal is despressed.
The fault is intermittent if the engine speed (RPM) increases.
The fault is permanent if the engine speed (RPM) doe not increase.

Is the fault permanent?
Yes - Continue below.
No - Testing Complete.
Checking components and wiring
Check that the connector terminals for the electronic throttle module are OK. Check that there is voltage to the throttle unit from the system relay.
Check that the battery voltage is normal. Check that the charging status of the battery is OK.
Hint: With ignition on, the voltage at throttle unit terminal #6 should be approximately Ubat.
Remedy as necessary.
