This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) indicates that there is a fault in one of the pedal sensors. This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is never stored on its own.

Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) which cause pedal faults:
ECM-917F, ECM-9180, ECM-91DF, ECM-9300, ECM-9400, ECM-9520, ECM-9530, ECM-9540, ECM-958F and ECM-959F.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-904D is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) from a pedal sensor is stored in the engine control module (ECM).
