Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-901E is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers an internal fault in the hard ware.

Condition
- Cruise control switched off.
- Fuel shut-off system which follows accelerator pedal (AP) position.
- Throttle closure when braking.

Possible source
- Defective engine control module (ECM).

Condition
- ETS warning lamp lit.
- Cruise control does not function at all.
- The engine jerks under acceleration.
- Engine jerks heavily after engine braking.
- Uneven idle.
