ECM-6310 MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) LIGHT W/ETS FAULT
DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) INFORMATION

Condition
This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored only if diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-6300 is stored. If a fault occurs in the engine management system which lights the ETS lamp and the lamp cannot light, the engine control module (ECM) interprets it as a fault and ECM-6310 is stored.

Condition
The Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) replaces the ETS lamp.

Possible source
- One or more diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the engine management system which light the ETS lamp
- ETS lamp output signal cable from engine management system is short-circuited to supply voltage, ground or has an open-circuit
