Checking Cables
Checking Cables
Check the control module and the damper motor connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals
Check the signal cable between the MCC control module #B3 and the damper motor terminal 3 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals
Check the ground lead between the MCC control module #B1 and the damper motor terminal 1 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals
Check the cable for power supply between the MCC control module #B2 and the damper motor terminal 2 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.
If the cables are OK, try a new recirculation damper motor.
Remedy as necessary.
