Checking Cables






Check the control module and the damper motor connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals

Check the signal cable between the MCC control module #B3 and the damper motor terminal 3 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals

Check the ground lead between the MCC control module #B1 and the damper motor terminal 1 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals

Check the cable for power supply between the MCC control module #B2 and the damper motor terminal 2 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.

If the cables are OK, try a new recirculation damper motor.

Remedy as necessary.

Other information:

- To connect the breakout box Connection of Breakout Box MCC
- Voltage on signal cable varies between approximately 0-5 V depending on damper motor position. Damper motor power supply should be approximately 5 V. For other values refer to Signal Specification MCC Signal Specification MCC
