Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Condition
When self-adjustment is activated the control module runs the motors to their limit positions in order to determine the limit position. A Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that a damper motor has not reached its limit position:
- ECC-422 Driver's side temperature damper motor self-adjustment
- ECC-423 Passenger side temperature damper motor self-adjustment
- ECC-424 Air distribution damper motor self-adjustment
- ECC-425 Recirculation damper motor self-adjustment depending on damper motor.
NOTE: A new control module automatically carries out self-adjustment when vehicle speed exceeds 30 km/h for more than 15 seconds for the first time, unless self-adjustment has been activated with the Volvo On-board Diagnostic (OBD) system. On old control module self-adjustment can only be carried out with the Volvo on-board diagnostic (OBD) system.
