Checking Connectors




Checking Connectors







- Ignition off.
- Corrective action to the passenger compartment temperature sensor and control module connectors for contact resistance and oxidation

Check carefully for signs of damage etc.
- To remove the control module, refer to Replacing ECC control module.
- To access the passenger compartment temperature sensor, refer to Replacing passenger compartment temperature sensor (ECC).
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc. Leave the temperature sensor loose but connected to the system.
- Ignition on.
- Start blower fan.

Check that fan motor in the temperature sensor is operating.
If blower fan motor is now OK this indicates that the fault was caused by poor contact in the connectors.

Is the fan motor working?

Yes - Test Complete

No - Checking Components and Cables
