Check cable between ECC control module #A24 and damper motor terminal 5 and ECC control module #A25 and damper motor terminal 4 for an open circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults and a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults and a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults. If cables are OK, try a new damper motor.
Remedy as necessary.
Other information:
- To connect the breakout box Connection of Breakout Box ECC
- Voltage on cables should be less than 1 V or 2-4 V below battery voltage, depending on which direction the motor is taming in. When the damper motor is not activated the voltage should be approximately 0 V. For other values Signal Specification ECC
