Check cable between ECC control module #A26 and damper motor terminal 5 and ECC control module #A27 and damper motor terminal 4 for an intermittent open circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults and an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.

- Voltage on cables should be less than 1 V or 2-4 V below battery voltage, depending on which direction the motor is turning in. When the damper motor is not activated the voltage should he approximately 0 V. For other values Connection of Breakout Box ECC
