Checking Damper Motor Recirculation Function







- Ignition on.
- Start the blower fan or let the engine idle.
- Read off the damper motor position sensor.
- Activate damper motor by engaging and disengaging the REC function using buttons on the control panel. Allow damper motor to go the limit position between selection/de-selection.

Check that position sensor value changes when the REC function is engaged/disengaged. If value changes this indicates that damper motor is OK.

Does the position sensor value change?

Yes - Intermittent Fault

No - Checking Components and Cables
