Intermittent Fault
Intermittent Fault
Check cable between ECC control module #A8 and damper motor terminal 5 and ECC control module #A9 and damper motor terminal 4 (for right-hand drive car, control module #A10 and damper motor terminal 5 and control module #A11 and damper motor terminal 4) for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults and an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.

- To connect the breakout box Connection of Breakout Box ECC
- Voltage on cables should be less than 1 V or 2-4 V below battery voltage, depending on which direction the motor is turning in. When the damper motor is not activated the voltage should be approximately 0 V. For other values Connection of Breakout Box ECC
