Checking Connectors







- Ignition off
- Corrective action to damper motor and control module connectors for contact resistance and oxidation

Check any damage etc.
- To remove the control module, see Replacing ECC Control module.
- To access the air distribution damper motor, see Replacing ECC Control module.
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
- Ignition on.
- Read off Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

If the DTC status changed to intermittent it means that the fault is no longer present.

Does the status change?

Yes - Test Complete

No - Checking Components
