Check signal cable between ECC control module #A28 and damper motor terminal 3 for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.

Check cable for power supply between ECC control module #A7 and damper motor terminal 2 for an open circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults and a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.

If cables are OK, try a new damper motor.

Remedy as necessary.

- The voltage on the signal cable varies between approximately 0-5 V depending on the damper motor position. The power supply to the damper motor should be approximately 5 V. For other values Connection of Breakout Box ECC
