Check outside temperature sensor and control module connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals

Check cable between ECC control module #A19 and outside temperature sensor terminal 2 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals

Check cable between control module #A22 and outside temperature sensor terminal 4 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults. Checking Wiring and Terminals

Remedy as necessary.

- To connect the breakout box Connection of Breakout Box ECC
- The voltage on the signal cable varies with temperature. At 20 °C (68 °F) voltage should be approximately 2.5 V. For other values, refer to Signal Specification ECC Signal Specification ECC
