Checking Cables







Check ECC control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.

If Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) ECC-211 ECC-222, ECC-231 and ECC-235 are stored:
Check the common power supply cable between ECC control module #A7 and damper motor terminal 2 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.

If, in addition, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) ECC- 122 is stored:
Check the common ground lead between ECC control module #A22 and damper motor terminal 1 and outside temperature sensor terminal 4 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Permanent faults.


Remedy as necessary.

Other information
- To connect the breakout box, Connection of Breakout Box ECC
- The power supply to the damper motors should be approximately 5 V. For other values, Connecting the Break-Out Box
