Checking Cables

Checking cables

Check ECC control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals

If diagnostic trouble codes (DTC)s ECC-211, ECC-222, ECC-231 and ECC-235 are stored:

Check the common power supply cable between ECC control module #A7 and damper motor terminal 2 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals

If, in addition, diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECC-122 is stored:

Check the common ground lead between ECC control module #A22 and damper motor terminal 1 and outside temperature sensor terminal 4 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals

Remedy as necessary.
