ABS-0090

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DIC) INFORMATION

Condition

The control modules communicate with each other in a network via a standardized serial communication procedure
- CAN (Controller Area Network) - for exchange of information. Control modules transmit and receive information. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0090 is stored if the ABS control module registers that communication is missing or subject to interference.

Condition

- CAN communication blocked.

- TRACS system is disengaged (cars equipped with TRACS only).

- Anti-spin function is blocked.

Possible source

- Defective control module.

Condition

- ABS warning lamp lit.

- Anti-spin warning lamp lit.

- Brake circuit not functioning, warning lamp lit.

- No vehicle speed displayed (because of missing signal to the combined instrument panel).
