DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) INFORMATION

Condition

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0032 or ABS-0042 (depending on the wheel sensor affected) is stored if the ABS control module registers that the signal from the wheel sensor is interrupted too many times during a 7 ms period.

Condition

- ABS system is blocked.

- EBD function blocked.

- Anti-spin function blocked.

- TRACS system blocked (cars equipped with TRACS).

Possible source

- Contact resistance in terminals.

- Loose connections in wiring/connections.

- The cables are too close to a source of interference.

- Cable insulation damaged.

Condition

- ABS warning lamp lit.

- Anti-wheelspin warning lamp does not fanction.

- Brake circuit not functioning, warning lamp lit.

- No ABS function.

- Anti-spin does not function.

- No TRACS system (cars equipped with TRACS only).
