Open fuel tank filler cap, listen for the fuel pump (FP).
Is the fuel pump (FP) working?
Yes - DONE
No - Checking power supply and ground terminals

Check fuse 11 B/7. If the fuse is blown check the circuit after the fuse for a short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Check cable between fuse 11 B/7 and fuel pump (FP) relay #1 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault
Check cable between fuel pump relay #3 and fuel pump (FP) #1 for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Check ground terminal between fuel pump (FP) #3 and ground terminal 31/48, ground terminal right cross member, for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
