Power seat gear

Preparations

Remove:

- the seat from the car according to Lifting the power seat in and out Lifting Power Seat In & Out
- middle motor according to Front-rear adjustment motor (center motor) Front-Rear Adjustment Motor (Center Motor)
- front motor according to Front height adjustment motor (front motor) Front Height Adjustment Motor (Front Motor)
- rear motor according to Rear height adjustment motor (rear motor) Front Height Adjustment Motor (Front Motor)
- two screws for the cross stay.
- the seat rail according to Seat rail Service and Repair

Replacing gear

Remove:






- snap ring (A).
- drive shaft.

Release the gear shaft by pushing the drive shaft towards it.
Angle out and remove the shaft.






- two screws (A).
- two nuts (B) and (D).

Install:

In reverse order.
