CCU-317 Closing Front Lock

Condition:
If the signal from the microswitch, front position, front lock arm, is absent, the front locking motor continues to operate despite running against a mechanical stop. A motor overload is detected and the diagnostic trouble code CCU-317 is displayed.

Possible Source:
- The microswitch signal is absent.
- A short circuit in the signal wire.

Fault Symptom(s):
Power roof (hood) mechanism not working.

NOTE: The lock arms are positioned too far inside the A-pillar and a creaking noise can be heard.
