CCU-217 Tension Frame Microswitch

Condition:
If the tension frame is indicated to be in the upper position when the hood is raised and the rear lock arms are in position to support the hood, the diagnostic trouble code CCU-217 is displayed.

Possible Source:
- The microswitch has become stuck in one position.
- Short circuit to ground in the signalling circuit.

Fault Symptom(s):
Power roof (hood) mechanism not working.

NOTE: The tension frame does not raise when lowering the hood.
