Front Lock Arm Microswitch

Before starting work, see CHA. Preparations Before Work. Procedures

CHM1 Removal:





- Move hood to the position shown in the image.
- Ignition off.
- Make a note of any radio code.
- Disconnect the battery negative lead.





Remove:
- outer fabric as described in CHG4.
- cover lock from front cross-member.
- connector from microswitches.

- Remove cable ties from wiring.
- Pull out microswitches.
- Remove microswitches.

CHM2 Installation:

Install:
- microswitches.
- connector to microswitches and new cable ties on the wiring.
- cover lock on front cross-member.
- outer fabric in reverse order as described in CHG4.
