Handling Non-deployed Airbag Modules/pyrotechnical Seat Belt Tensioners








Non-deployed airbag modules/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners must not be deployed either in place in the car or when removed.
Removal must be carried out in accordance with applicable repair instructions.

WARNING:
- Airbag modules/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners must never be taken apart, repaired or transferred to another vehicle.

- Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected non-deployed airbag/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioner. This could deploy the airbag/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioner.

Replaced airbag modules/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners should be returned to Volvo in accordance with current procedures.

Storage And Transport








When storing or transporting airbag modules/pyrotechnical seat belt tensioners, they should be handled in accordance with national statutory regulations.
