CC. After a Collision - SRS System Has Been Activated
CCA1. The Following Parts Must Always Be Replaced:
Steering wheel module
Passenger module (if applicable)
Steering wheel
Contact reel
Sensor module (see separate instructions below)
Complete seat belt (including seat-belt buckle on both sides)
Firing circuit to passenger module (if applicable)
CCA2. The Following Parts Must Be Checked And Replaced If Damaged:
The windscreen and its mounting.
NOTE: Must be PUR sealed if replaced. Carefully remove any broken glass, being sure to look in the air vents.
Replacing dashboard and frame (if applicable)
Panels under the dashboard
Loudspeakers (in dashboard)
CAUTION! The sensor module should always be replaced if:
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 1-1-2 is stored.
A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) cannot be cleared when the car has been repaired, i.e. there is still a fault in the sensor module.
The sensor module is mechanically damaged.
There is mechanical damage to the floor of the car in the area of the sensor module, which could weaken the sensor module mountings. Remove the sensor module and check that its mountings are not cracked.
CAUTION! During the guarantee period diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS 1-1-2 should not be cleared; the sensor module should be returned to Volvo in accordance with current procedures.
