Replacing the EVAP canister shut-off valve

Removing the EVAP canister shut-off valve
- Disconnect the connector
- Remove the clamps (2) at the EVAP canister and rear axle joint, and one tie strap.
Removing the clamp:
- squeeze the clamp with a pipe wrench. Hold in place
- pry apart with a small screwdriver.
Note! These are reusable.
- Disconnect hoses.
- Remove the rubber mounting from the bracket.
Installing the EVAP canister shut-off valve
In reverse order.
Installing the clamp:
- squeeze the clamp with a pipe wrench until it locks.
Note! Use a new screw clip at the EVAP canister. See replacement parts catalogue. Use a new tie strap. Reuse the clamp at the rear axle joint.
