Notes for Replacing Combined Instrument



Working With the Driver Information Module






When replacing the component

Caution! When working on the combined instrument panel observe the following:

Cleanliness: the workplace must be free of dust, dirt, oil and solvents etc.

- Always wash your hands before disassembling the combined instrument panel. Do not use hand cream or lotion after washing. Use thin cotton protective gloves. Synthetic materials can cause static electricity.

- The connection plate must not be exposed to static electricity.

- Do not touch connection plate or dial surfaces.

- Do not change the needles in such a way that will cause them to change position. They are factory calibrated. If the needles are moved the instrument may display the wrong reading.

Bulb Location:






Bulbs in the combined instrument panel All warning lamps in the combined instrument panel should light up when the ignition is switched on. If they are blown, replace the bulbs.
