Checking Air Conditioning (A/C) System Operating Noise Level

Checking Air Conditioning (A/C) System Operating Noise Level

Hint: When a fault has been detected it is necessary to check that its symptom no longer exists. Check as follows.

- Ignition off.
- Connect connectors, reinstall components etc.
- Start engine.
- Place Air Conditioning (A/C) switch to on.
- Place blower fan switch to maximum speed.
- Listen to the Air Conditioning (A/C) system operational noise. Normal operational noise is a soft whirring from the Air Conditioning (A/C) system pump and compressor. When the refrigerant moves from gas to liquid form there is also some noise.
