Timed Recirculation

It is now possible to set the time of recirculation so that the air conditioning system automatically reverts to its normal position after a set time. This is to ensure that recirculation is switched off even if the driver has forgotten that it has been activated, e.g after driving through a tunnel.
If the recirculation switch is pushed in when the air conditioning system is set to timed recirculation, recirculation will switch off after 5-12 minutes depending on the outside temperature. If continuous recirculation is required the air conditioning system must be set to its normal position.
Recirculation will not function when the controls for air distribution are set to the defroster position.

Activating Time Settings:
Time settings are activated by pressing the recirculation switch in for 3 seconds. The two indicating diodes for recirculation flash 5 times to confirm that the time setting function has been activated.

Resetting Time Settings:
The time setting function can be reset to its normal position by pressing the recirculation switch in for 3 seconds. The two indicating diodes for recirculation remain lit for 5 seconds to confirm that recirculation has been reset to its normal position.
