- Insert hand through control module opening and detach the switch next to the passenger compartment temperature sensor by pressing out the switch from behind.

TTTC2

NOTE! Note how the temperature sensor was positioned before removing it.

- Disconnect passenger compartment temperature sensor's connector.

TTTC3 Installing passenger compartment temperature sensor (ECC)
- Reconnect passenger compartment temperature sensor connector.
- Insert hand through control module opening and install passenger compartment temperature sensor. Take care to carefully twist the sensor and feel so that it lines up with the groove in the holder, press in and listen for a click when the sensor's locking clips fasten in the holder. Check by feeling that both the clips have fastened and that the sensor is properly and securely in place.

NOTE! This work is made easier by looking in the opening for the switch next to the passenger compartment temperature sensor, to compare the position of the sensor with how it was before removing it.

- Install switch next to passenger compartment temperature sensor.
- Install ECC control module.
- Reinstall radio, if any.

TTTC4 Finishing
- Check the fault has been corrected by reading out the passenger compartment temperature.
- Check no diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored during fault-tracing.
