Test driving of Additional heater/Parking heater

Test drive

Location of Components, Additional Heater 912-D (Location in the Car):

Note! If the engine coolant temperature (ECT) exceeds approximately 78 °C, do not start additional heater.

Activate heater.
When the heater is activated, allow it to run for a few minutes and check that:
- heater starts and runs normal.
- heater does not smoke abnormally.
- no mechanical noise is heard from the fuel pump (FP), water pump or combustion fan.
- there is no leakage from either fuel lines and terminals and coolant hoses and terminals.
- coolant hoses from the heater are warm.
Stop heater.
