Air Distribution Damper

Replacing damper motor air distribution







TTTK3 Removing damper motor air distribution
- Ignition off.
- In Right-hand drive cars:
- Remove glove compartment
- Remove soundproofing panel
- Remove knee bolster if installed.
- Disconnect damper motor air distribution connector.
- Unscrew screws.

- Place a screwdriver between damper motor and damper reel.
- Remove damper motor by working off carefully with the screwdriver.


TTTK5 Installing damper motor air distribution
- Install damper motor.


NOTE! Line up the bevelling on the damper motor output shaft in the damper reel.


- Connect damper motor air distribution connector.
- Reinstall knee bolster, if any.
- Install soundproofing panel
- In Right-hand drive cars:
- Install glove compartment
- After replacement it is necessary to carry out self adjustment of the system motors.
- Check no diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored during repairs.
