Torque bracket

Removing the torque bracket, turbocharged engines
Remove:
- Applies to turbocharged engines.
- the charge air pipe over the engine.
- the upper camshaft belt cover.
- the cover over the ignition coils.
- the screw for the torque rod.
- the torque bracket.
Removing the torque bracket, naturally aspirated engines
Remove:
- Applies to naturally aspirated engines.
- the upper camshaft belt cover.
- the cover over the ignition coils.
- the screw for the torque rod.
- the torque bracket.
Installing the torque bracket
Install
- the torque bracket (A).
Tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb.ft) .
- the screws for the torque rod (B).
Tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb.ft) +90° .
- the cover over the ignition coils.
- the upper camshaft belt cover.
- any charge air pipe over the engine.
Wipe clean and check.
