Replacing tilt mechanism

Preparations




Make a note of radio code if anti-theft coded radio is installed.

Remove:
- battery negative lead
- seat from the car.
- backrest upholstery.
- protective pad.

Removing tilt mechanism





Remove:
- two screws securing tilt mechanism in the seat.
- the switch from the folding mechanism, see Replacing switch Removal and Replacement.
- cable from tilt mechanism.
Replace tilt mechanism.
Assemble in reverse order.
