Replacing Seat Rails / Mounting Stays






Replacing seat rails / mounting stays

Rail stop bracket





Remove:
- the seat from the car according to Lifting mechanical seats in and out Lifting Mechanical Seats In and Out.
- the rail stop bracket (unhook the springs).

Mounting stays and seat rails





Remove:
- the mounting stay by drilling out the 4 rivets.
- the two mounting nuts for the seat rail in the seat frame.

Caution! If installing a new mounting stay, follow the instructions below to ensure that the seat base is not crooked.

Install:
- Rivet the mounting stay into place on the seat.
- Position the seat in the car.
Ensure that the base is straight and secure in the catches on both sides.
- Tighten the two nuts on the mounting stay under the seat when the seat is in place in the car.

Gas damper





Remove:
- turn the lower mounting for the rear height adjustment so that the gas damper can be removed.
- the seat rail from the seat frame.

Install:
In reverse order.
