Checking WHIPS

The WHIPS system must be checked after all types of collision
Fold or angle the backrest forward.
Lift the upholstery / impact protection at the end mounting.








Check that the indicator pins are intact.

Hint: Gently pull the indicator pin to check that it is in position and is undamaged. If the indicator pin is damaged, the WHIPS system must be replaced. See WHIPS WHIPS for mechanical front seats. See Replacing WHIPS Replacing Whips for power seats.
