Motors 1 and 3, replace

Special tools:

Preparations
- Install the transport safety device for the SIPS Airbag. See Replacing seat assembly Replacing Seat Assembly.

Removing




Where the motors are located:
- M1. Motor 1.
- M3. Motor 3.
- M4. Motor 4.
Make a note of radio code if anti-theft coded radio is installed.
Remove:
- Battery negative lead.
- Seat from car according to Replacing seat assembly Replacing Seat Assembly.
- Control module from the bracket in accordance with Control module, replace Control Module.
- The 14-pin black connector C.
- The screw securing the bracket.
- The two screws securing the motor to the drive gear.





- Mark the positions of the contact pins in the connector.
- Press out the pin for the motor from the connector. Use terminal removal tool from the repair kit. 981 4235 Replaced by 9512644 981 4235 Replaced by 951 2644.

Reinstalling
Reinstall in reverse order.

SIPS airbag, removing the safety device
Remove the transport safety device from the sensor module and return it to its storage place on the inside of the control panel.
