Removing the tension bow seal, end part
Remove 2 nuts and 2 washers.
4
Installing the tension bow seal
Note!
If any of the screws removed in step 2 were damaged, they must be replaced with new ones.
Place seal on the tension bow to run from side to side. If any of the screws where found to have had stripped holes while removing the old seal, the new seal strip must be moved 3-4 mm (1/8-3/16") to one side to ensure that the tension bow seal fits securely when the screws are tightened.
Note!
Do not over tighten the screws. This may deform and/or strip the aluminium frame.
Install all screws loosely. Start tightening the screws in the middle and work out towards the ends.
Make sure the canvas fits perfectly to the tension bow, and follows the curvature of the tension bow.
Install the washers and nuts for the end piece of the tension bow seal, torque to 10 Nm (6 lbs).
