Headlining guide, installation
Background:
This service bulletin describes how to ensure that the headlining folds properly when the convertible top is lowered.

Installing headlining guide

Preparations
Raise the cover plate with the button on the dash as per illustration.
Note!
Turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key.

Removing screw and stop collar
Remove the screw and the stop collar (1).

Installing headlining guide and stop collar
Note!
The tip of the guide C (see insert in illustration) must point towards the front of the vehicle. The guides in the kit are left and right side
Reinstall the stop collar (1) and the correct guide (2) as per illustration.

Pop riveting details
Rivet the guide and stop collar to the link with a pop rivet from the kit, ensuring that the parts are mounted as per illustration.
Note!
If the hole in the plastic guide is too small for the rivet, drill it out with a 4 mm (5/32") drill.
