Rear Lock Arm


Before starting work, see CHA. Preparations Before Work. Procedures

GHE7 Removal of Motor, Rear Lock Arms:





- Move the hood to the position shown in the image.
- Ignition off.
- Make a note of any radio code.
- Disconnect the battery negative lead.





- Remove 12 screws from motor bracket.
- Pull out the motor bracket.





Remove:
- 2 nuts from motor.
- cable ties.

NOTE: Hold motor up with tool to avoid splitting rubber motor supports.

Remove motor.

NOTE: Make sure drive wires do not move while replacing motor.

CHE8 Installation of Motor, Rear Lock Arms:

NOTE: Make sure drive wires are correctly positioned before installing motor.

Install in reverse order.
