Replacing the Rubber Profile

REPLACING THE RUBBER PROFILE ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COVER






Install the rubber profile as illustrated.
The rubber profile reduces noise.

Replacing the side piece, cover
Removing the side piece, cover






Set the convertible top to the position illustrated.
Ignition off.
Press the snap fasteners together and press the side piece outwards

Note: Ensure that the foil remains in place and does not rip.






Replacing the seal, side piece
Press the snap fasteners together on the frame.
Replace the seal.
Install in reverse order.

Installing the side piece, cover

Note: Bond the foil if it comes away at the edge when removing the side piece. Ensure that there are no ridges in the foil. Smooth the edges around the hole for the side piece.

Bond the new side piece into position. Check that there is no adhesive on any of the visible surfaces.
