Replacing the striker plate for the cover
Removing the striker plate for the cover
Set the convertible top to the position illustrated.
Ignition off.
Alternative 1
Mark the position of the striker plate with a pen according to Preparations before work Preparations Before Work.
Remove the 3 screws
Replace the striker plate.
Alternative 2
Mark the position of the striker plate with a pen according to Preparations before work Preparations Before Work.
Remove 3 nuts
Replace the striker plate.
Installing the striker plate for the cover
The mounting bracket must be positioned so that its three holes are aligned with the holes in the striker plate.
Tighten the screws. Tighten to 25 Nm .
Adjusting the striker plate for the cover
Set the striker plate to the bottom position.
Close and lock the cover.
The mounting bracket must be positioned so that its three holes are aligned with the holes in the striker plate.

Tighten the nuts. Tighten to 25 Nm .
Align the lock and locking bracket as illustrated.
The contact point must be in area 1, the striker plate must not be in contact with area 2 or 3.
