Microswitch Replacement

Before starting work, see CHA. Preparations Before Work. Procedures

CHM6 Removal of Microswitch, Hood Cover Lock:





- Move hood to the position shown in the image.
- Ignition off.
- Make a note of any radio code.
- Disconnect the battery negative lead.





Remove:
- 3 screws from link on hood cover lock
- 2 screws from lock housing
- 2 cable ties from wiring
- 2 screws and nuts from microswitch.

Remove microswitch.

CHM7 Installation of Microswitch, Hood Cover Lock:
- Install in reverse order.
- Install cable ties on wiring.
