Cover Striker Plate Replacement

REPLACING THE STRIKER PLATE FOR THE COVER

Note: Before starting work, see Preparations before work. Service and Repair

Removing the striker plate for the cover






Set the convertible top to the position illustrated.
Ignition off.






Alternative 1
Mark the position of the striker plate with a pen according to Preparations before work.
Remove the 3 screws
Replace the striker plate.






Alternative 2
Mark the position of the striker plate with a pen according to Preparations before work.
Remove 3 nuts
Replace the striker plate.

Installing the striker plate for the cover
The mounting bracket must be positioned so that its three holes are aligned with the holes in the striker plate.
Tighten the screws. Tighten to 25 Nm.
